My Strength is Not For Hurting
This
year I took great pleasure in being asked to be the Master of Ceremonies of
"Men’s March to STOP Rape" a movement to end rape and sexual
assault. when men disrespect women, we say "THAT’S NOT RIGHT."
Men can stop rape. Men, women, and children are invited to participate in
calling for an end to sexual violence.
I have supported this annual event in El Dorado County for several years and support the sponsors, Our Strength is Not for Hurting and the El Dorado County Women's Center.
MyStrength is a project of the California Department of Health Services and the California Coalition Against Sexual Assault (CALCASA), a statewide coalition of rape crisis centers and prevention programs founded in 1980.
The mission is to provide leadership, vision and resources for rape crisis centers, individuals and other entities committed to ending sexual violence.
